In order to raise additional funds, eight baby elephant statues have been sponsored and painted by various regional artists. Each of the elephants is currently on display along the streets of historic downtown Erwin from Erwin Town Hall to the corner of Main and Love!

Each elephant will be sold at a public auction on October 21, 2017, at 12:00 pm in the Gathering Place Park in the heart of downtown Erwin with all proceeds benefiting The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.  Food Trucks and Live Music will begin at 11 am.

As a courtesy to those unable to personally attend the live auction, the Town of Erwin will assign a proxy bidder in the audience to assist you in executing your bid. To make arrangements for a proxy bidder or to obtain additional information, please contact 423.743.6231.
